• Promotes a healthy and balanced microbiota: A diverse population of probiotic bacteria colonizes the gastrointestinal tract and plays an important role in health and immune function. By serving as a food and energy source for these beneficial bacteria, prebiotics support the growth and activity of a healthy intestinal microbiota. Galactomune® provides a rich source of galactooligosaccharides (GOS), a type of prebiotic found in human and cow milk that has been shown to support growth of healthful Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus species in the gut.
